We provide comprehesive obstetric care from your first prenatal visit through your postpartum period. We also offer on-site laboratory services and on-site ultrasound. We have three physicians available for obstetric care. While you may see one physician the majority of your pregnancy, you will also see the others so you are familiar and comfortable with everyone in our practice. We deliver at Thomas Hospital, a member of Infirmary Health Systems, with a state-of-the-art Labor and Delivery Unit recently renovated in 2019. Comprehensive women’s health includes adolescent care from puberty all the way through menopause. Annual visits to the gynecologist are often the only interaction women have with the healthcare system. Your doctor will perform a complete examination of thyroid, breast, heart, lungs, abdomen and extrmemities. Certain age-appropriate screening tests will be ordered including pap smear, mammogram, bone-density screening, lipid panel, and colon cancer screening. We provide on-site lab which can include hormone testing for certain patients when necessary.

In addition to your routine office visit, we offer problem visits for many women’s health concerns from abnormal uterine bleeding, sexually transmitted infections, and infertility. We also provide comprehensive counseling on diet, exercise, and lifestyle changes for overall physical and mental wellbeing. We will also have a complete discussion about available birth control methods and hormone replacement therapy when indicated. As a part of our comprehensive gynecologic care, we perform many common surgeries. The most common, of. course, is a hysterectomy when it is indicated. We also have experience in surgical mangement of pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, ovarian problems, and emergencies like ectopic pregnancy.
